Heason Technology exhibition

Heason Technology is a leading precision motion control systems solution provider specialising in high performance solutions for many industrial market sectors. Heason exhibited at Culham alongside Ixthus, who supply non-contact position measurement equipment. Heason exhibited high-tech gearboxes and a specialist range of motors, some of which are suitable for a vacuum environment. Unimatic had a successful exhibition, resulting in a significant number of leads. They were demonstrating several ranges: micro and nano motors and actuators, including vacuum and non-magnetic models; cutting technologies – laser cutting / engraving and CNC machines; rapid prototyping; and laser scanning for reverse engineering. Managing Director Martin Stevens said: “We had a large number of visitors during the day. Laboratory Impex exhibition

National Instruments had one of their most successful exhibitions for a few years at Culham. Their High Speed Digitisers product line in particular received a lot of interest from engineers and scientists. They also saw a lot of interest in their easy to use, FPGA based Programmable Automation Controllers (cRIO). “We found the day very interesting as always. As well as getting the chance to tell Culham staff about what we do, we also get to find out more about the fascinating work that goes on at the site,” said Ralph McFadyen, District Sales Manager. LML Products exhibition

LML Products and sister company Riker had an excellent response when they exhibited recently. LML manufactures high current electrical components for switchgear and electrical plant. Riker is a specialist in power electronics and high frequency power conversion. Micromech exhibited a selection of components and systems on the theme of Motion Control and Precision Positioning. “During the event we enjoyed discussing a number of current motion control applications with engineers from the various divisions at Culham.
