Michell Instruments - 3rd June 2008
 
Michell Instruments exhibited for the first time at Culham and demonstrated the full extent of the company's moisture measurement capabilities. The star of the show was the new S8000 high precision dewpoint meter, capable of extremely accurate measurement of trace moisture in many gas types using cooled mirror technology. The S8000 was supported by the broad range of Michell dewpoint and % relative humidity (%RH)measurement solutions in "online" and "portable" formats. Firstsight Vision - 19th June 2008
 
Firstsight Vision, the UK's premier supplier of Machine Vision and Imaging technology, exhibited recently for the first time at Culham. Exhibits ranged from a simple ‘XGA output' colour camera for inexpensive and elegant imaging to a camera/lighting/lens high accuracy, high magnification combination for inspection, measurement and alignment applications. Contour Electronics Limited - Hook, UK used their first exhibition at Culham to promote their capabilities in providing cable assembly & connector solutions. In addition, they advertised their authorised distributorship with the German connector manufacturer, ODU. A wide variety of visitors attended the stand & were particularly interested in more than one of their specialist areas. ORLIN Technologies Ltd enjoyed another successful foyer exhibition at Culham recently. They displayed their innovative range of precision motion control products and related items, with particular interest in their ultrasonic piezo "Squiggle" motors, the smallest linear motors in the world. The display also included demonstrations of voice coil actuators, piezo actuators, manual & motorised stages and vibration isolation systems, as well as a selection of opto-mechanical components from the vast range on ORLIN's e-commerce website, www.opto-mechanics.co.uk.
