Fusion for Energy signs ITER Architect Engineer contract, one of the biggest engineering contracts in Europe
 
One of the biggest engineering contracts ever in Europe was signed recently by Fusion for Energy (F4E). Worth approximately 150 million Euros, the Architect Engineer contract for ITER Buildings and Civil Infrastructures was awarded to the Engage consortium, including WS Atkins International Ltd, the UK’s largest engineering and design consultancy.

Jacobs Nucleaire has begun work to provide engineering support services for buildings and site infrastructure to the ITER Organization Civil Construction and Site Support (CCS) Office, within the context of a contract awarded last year. The five year (plus two optional years) framework contract follows the successful completion of a contract to provide preliminary architectural and engineering services to the ITER Organization
