22 Feb 2010
| In the face of stiff competition from across Europe, North East of England digital communications specialist Pearsons has won the contract to redesign the internal and external website of Fusion for Energy (F4E) http://www.fusionforenergy.europa.eu/ |
|
F4E is the organisation responsible for Europe’s contribution to ITER, the world's largest experimental fusion facility designed to demonstrate the scientific and technological feasibility of fusion power. ITER is also a first-of-a-kind global collaboration.
Pearsons managing director, Lilian Hughes, says: "Winning such a prestigious contract is a real coup for Pearsons and is a golden opportunity for us to showcase our expertise in website design and digital innovation on a global scale. Proud to be a North East based business in today’s technical environment, we have utilised digital conferencing and site visits to F4E to maintain a close working relationship and to perfect the design and development of the website.”
F4E has been working closely with Pearsons in order to offer guidance and insight on the layout, design and format of the website.
The new website is expected to go live in spring 2010.
