A new company to exhibit in the foyer was HMD who demonstrated their pump range. HMD manufacture zero leakage centrifugal pumps for the chemical, refinery and nuclear industries. By their very nature sealless pumps are safer as there are no fugitive emissions. As the design of the pump is extremely simple there are huge cost benefits when it comes to maintenance.
